Candinho and the Flying Saucer was my first motion project that I made for a Brazilian Soap Opera entitled "Flor do Caribe", at TV Globo. The style of this project was inspired by a less sophisticaded woodcut technique (Xylograph) of Cordel literature (string literature), a popular and inexpensively printed booklets or pamphlets containing folk novels, poems, songs of the northeast part of Brazil.
